I am so glad that you are here! One of my favorite things about teaching is connecting with other educators. The more we work together and support each other the stronger we become and the more we can give to our students. I am in my second year of teaching, but I feel like it is time to begin building a community of educators who not only need support, but would like to give support as well. I believe that we, as educators, must meet all of our students’ needs. I don’t know about you, but I have received so much professional development in the core subjects as compared to Social Emotional Learning. If we skip addressing our students intrinsic needs, how can we move forward with anything else? I hope to share ways to support your students’ Social Emotional Learning through behavior management tips, literacy(don’t think I was leaving that out), and teaching you self-care strategies.
